Today we have updated the system with two exciting new things. We’ve made changes to unique Mossms that we are super excited about and that we believe will make them more desirable in addition to making it more fun to get one during breeding. We have also included a feature request related to Mossms in cryo pods in this update.
The following changes apply to all uniques, including Fuanarosa uniques, and are retroactive which means that your existing uniques will be affected by the changes:
Uniques will now contribute the blend from their home planet to the DNA pool when breeding. If there are two blends on the home planet the blend that it contributes will be randomly selected when the unique Mossm is born.
Uniques will now contribute one color from the mother and one color from the father to the DNA pool when breeding.
The blend and color that the unique will contribute to the DNA pool is now visible on the Mossm’s page and can be found directly under the DNA Scan. It will look something like this: “Passes:lightblue-skin-darkblue-longfur-tiger.”
Unique Mossms were previously a little too easy to get. They are now more rare
In addition to the changes to unique Mossms and in response to your requests we’ve made Mossms that are in cryo pods visible on the website. Starting today, if you have Mossms in cryo pods a “cryo” button will appear at the top of your “My Mossms” page. Clicking the button will result in a list of your Mossms that are currently in cryo pods in addition to the last known in-world location for each cryo pod. Please note, if you’ve picked up your cryo pods and are storing them in your inventory, the last location displayed on the website will be the in-world location they were at before you picked them up. We cannot communicate with and therefor cannot account for cryo pods in inventory.
For security reasons, Mossms in cryo pods are still not recoverable using our self-help system but we’re hopeful that this change will satisfy your requests for greater visibility.
Next, we are focusing our collective efforts on bringing you some new game-play. Accordingly, there will not be any enhancements or feature requests released for a little while. We’ll have more information about the new game-play soon!
