I have noticed one can breed with the same greate granparents so question is if they matter at all for the breeding and if they are is it possible to as well see them at the breeding page?

Only the Mossms you see on the breeding screen contribute to the DNA of a new Mossm. The great grandparents of an existing Mossm is not counted.
